We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vendor Manager to oversee our logistics partnerships. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in vendor management within the logistics sector, demonstrating a strong ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and optimize supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our logistics vendors meet performance standards, comply with contractual obligations, and contribute to our overall operational efficiency.​

Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors, ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance expectations.​
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure favorable pricing, service levels, and delivery timelines.​
Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess vendor performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.​
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure vendors adhere to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and assessments.​
Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as procurement, operations, and finance to align vendor strategies with business needs.​
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline vendor management processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.​
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance, contract status, and risk assessments to senior management.​

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.​
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in vendor management within the logistics industry.​

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.​
Proficiency in vendor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.​

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).​
